OUR DOG TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is simple. Compassion, Commitment, consistency, “the 3 C’s”. Combined with a custom training program we believe no dog is un-manageable. Our training strategy will be different for each handler/dog team. That said it is important that we remain honest throughout! Honest about our own feelings, and honest about the expectations we have of our dogs. To teach our dogs we must be PRESENT! We must take the time necessary to lead, nurture & communicate as clearly as possible. These relationships with our dogs will be the purest relationship we have. We should resolve to live our best lives together.

Strategies & techniques

• Basic Obedience - for both dogs & puppies will always be reward based. We use markers to encourage specific behaviors. With both dogs & puppies luring, shaping and splitting techniques are incorporated into your custom training program.

• Owner / Handler Instruction - “how, when, & when not to use the leash”

• Behavioral Modification - which is much different than obedience training. Fixing existing unwanted behavior can be a challenge. Anxiety, aggression, even destructive behavior can all be sucessfully addressed with training specifically designed to address these issues. Adjustments to the way in which we handle, train, and communicate, combine with my 3 C’s philosophy will ensue we are doing all the right things to rehabilitate our dogs

  
  

IN HOME Boarding

In addition to training & walking your besties, we also offer in home boarding. While with us, your dog will be cared for exactly like we care for our own dogs. When boarding a dog, we take the time to get to know your dog as and individual. 3 or more walks a day with our dogs is guaranteed. Our dogs are great at helping visitors feel welcome and safe. Custom Meal Prep of human grade proteins, fruit, and vegetables is available. Or you can provide your dog’s meals. Either way, while with us your dog will receive all the care necessary to ensure a stress free boarding experience.
